Full Moon in Virgo: Stepping into Your Divine Human Experience

Another full Moon is upon us! The cosmic energies have been deeply profound over the last month. If you are new here, welcome! For those who may be newer to working with the energy of the full Moon, this is a time when the luminaries of the sky (Sun and Moon) are in opposition to each other. The full Moon reflects a period where integration or release can take place to strike a balance between two opposing energies. This month we are celebrating the realm of the Virgo full Moon while the Sun is in mystical and magical Pisces. 

The Bigger Picture

Collectively as the North Node travels with Chiron in the sign of Aires, there have been heavy themes around stepping into our power. That can mean a multitude of different things, depending on what is showing up for you. Stepping Into your power could look like firming up your boundaries, having the courage to step out into something new, or identifying more authentically with your truest and highest self.

 Additionally, the collective energy as Pluto has entered Aquarius has surely been swirling! We are all being asked to bring our most authentic gifts into the world. Then we had Venus and Mars meeting in Aquarius as well! This is a gentle reminder that the world needs your unique gifts and views. The world needs the version of you that shows up in your truest essence of balanced divine feminine and divine masculine archetypes. You are a piece of the cosmic puzzle, and no one likes working on putting a puzzle together only to discover missing pieces.

Human versus Divinity

So how does this full Moon in Virgo echo the collective themes that have been vibrating? Virgo is the human side that lives in each of us and helps make us human! Virgo loves to master a craft, show up as helpful and even strive for perfection. Virgo is the part of us that persists day in and day out and makes things happen. This vibration can also be very dedicated to health and routines. As this Moon travels through Virgo, she will be opposing the Sun in Pisces.

If Virgo represents the human side of each of us, then we could say that Pisces represents the divine. Again, this can mean many different things depending on your beliefs. Pisces is not philosophy or organized religion but rather these times when we have undoubtable universal or source connection. Pisces represents the magical times where we are deeply connected to source. There are hardly words for such experiences. But that is the essence of Pisces. When we encounter these Piscean instances, we may not be able to explain with words; however, the magic is undeniable.

Your Thoughts?

During this full Moon the Sun in Pisces is also traveling with Mercury and Saturn. This may bring about a strong sense that it is time to take responsibility for our thoughts or perhaps you are feeling unclear on your direction. Saturn offers the invitation to check in and make sure your thoughts are congruent with the most empowered version of yourself! Virgo can be a strong inner critic and cause relentless nagging in our brains. That Virgo part of us wants things to be “perfect”.  

Remember, the full Moon is all about integration and balance. All the Piscean energy is reminding you that sometimes we just need to surrender. Stop the overthinking, stop allowing your nervous system to be hijacked by the business in your brain and allow in a little more magic.

 The Body

This full Moon is also strongly supported by the asteroid Ceres which can represent our physical body. With such a strong connection to this lunation, we are being reminded that we can use our physical bodies as a tool to propel us along our spiritual path. We can learn to identify when we are leaning too much in the Virgo energies by understanding how this shows up in our bodies.

 Perhaps you feel your shoulders tense, or maybe feeling overworked causes your heart chakra to close in on itself. Once you begin to identify the ways that your body is telling you to pump the breaks on all the doing- then you can learn to back down before painful reminders pop up!

Virgo Perfection is an Illusion

After all, the perfection that Virgo seeks is not something we can create as humans. Human perfection simply does not exist. Perfection is only divine love and connection with source. That my friends is the essence of Pisces! So where can you begin to human a little bit less and open to the infinite possibilities of the universe a little bit more? Where does Virgo land in your chart? Where does Pisces land?

 Remember, you are the puzzle piece that has been missing to raise the vibration of the collective! The universe is asking you to step into your power as your truest most authentic self. This version of you is not something that you will find through relentless hours of analysis and trying to do. This full Moon reminds us that most often the opposite is true. We just need to surrender more to come into balance between doing and being, then watch the magic start to unfold!
