All about me
My calling has always been to heal. I am a Licensed Nurse Practitioner and have worked in healthcare since 2010. After a deployment overseas to Afghanistan in 2012, I returned home from a combat zone shocked, ripped open, and lost. I survived in the world after this but was nowhere near thriving. I developed unhealthy habits with basically everything in my life, including alcohol, exercise, and diet. I was using all of these vices in order not to have to deal with the trauma that I faced.
Somehow, I faced each day and milestone and thought that achieving the next thing on my list would bring me happiness and success. After I graduated with my master's and landed what I thought would be my dream job, I was left feeling unfulfilled and disappointed. I was awaiting the next big thing in life: having children. Surely, this would be the ticket to my happiness! After the birth of my son, I was emotionally raw as I have ever been. Bringing another life into this world made me reevaluate everything, including my calling and passion.
I stumbled upon astrology as a tool for healing, and my life was changed forever. I realized I had been hiding my emotions rather than dealing with things head-on. My natal (birth) chart reading revealed the true strength and destiny within me. Suddenly, I realized what I was supposed to be doing! It was healing people through astrology. My studies of astrology propelled me deeper and deeper on the spiritual path. I was no longer using tools to escape life, which was invigorating. On October 16th 2020, Double Libra Astrology was born in the human form! The birth of my son was actually what I was waiting for in my life for complete happiness and healing, but it certainly wasn't in the way I anticipated. My Double Libra came to this world to be my ultimate catalyst for growth and change!
